The People’s Imperial Confederation officially celebrate their 6th anniversary. Truly a memorable moment for the army and a testament to their longevity in the community. Let’s dive deeper into the deep PIC history and see what we can uncover.
The People’s Imperial Confederation was created by Sidie9 on October 17th, 2019, with the assistance of Sirproditor. PIC continued to thrive for many years, engaging in tournaments and also winning some, and becoming one of the most well-known in modern Club Penguin Armies, being one of the most influential Small/Medium armies. Having a rich history and a high success rate, not every army would have achieved.
The first generation of PIC, unfortunately, did not last long. Their most notable generation was the fourth, which started in February 2023. Being arguably one of the most successful generations of PIC, under the leadership consisting of Sidie9, Shallissa, Langly, and Hidcre. Followed up by Fernthebird1‘s promotion to Commander-in-Chief, and seeing People like Alucard join the leadership later on. This generation was one of the longest-lasting ones, and the Army has continued to slowly thrive, going from maxes of 5-15, and growing each day with a stronger force, and also engaging in wars such as World War IX, joining the Sapphire Concordat in the conflict against the Blue Sunset Alliance.
The army has only seen success since, winning tournaments such as Beach Brawl III, setting up a theme for tournament triumph, like the New Year Bonanza, and Around The World Cup. The leadership later saw new faces like Jojo Teri and Saber achieve leadership positions to further bring the army to glory. PIC was later seen engaging in a conflict against the Dark Pirates, which was notably the last activity seen by PIC before shutting down and ending the fourth generation.
The fifth and current generation of PIC would later come to life on June 30th, 2025. This generation was led by Iso and Taro when it was revived, later on joined by Caitlin. However, suddenly, Iso, Toro, and Caitlin quietly retired, being replaced by Sweater, Scars, and Villa, who remain the current leaders to this day. The army has recently been engaging in Conflicts such as the War of Bullying Children against the Phantom Republic, which led to a PRCP Surrender, and also engaging in alliances with armies such as the Void Troops, Scarlet Republic, and Penguins of Agartha.
PIC recently held the anniversary event, branded as the Sidie’s Gala, on October 17th. They hosted several mini-events, honoring all winners of all categories, and also celebrated the day of the army’s creation. The biggest announcement was the promotion of Armenzia to PIC Legend. Being the first-ever Leader-in-training to achieve that rank without holding leader and one of the most recent ones, if not first. The army had approximately 21 Troops online.
Club Penguin Army League reached out to PIC’s leaders for an interview, but unfortunately, we couldn’t get a response in time.
The People’s Imperial Confederation has had a long-standing impact on the community. Their anniversary marks a strong accomplishment in their history, standing tall after many years. With many things planned for them along the way, their presence in the community would only be more evident as time goes.
