Newest addition to the army, Cyber, announces retirement from Fire Vikings Leadership. Having only recently joined, he leaves with a lasting impact on the army. Let’s take a deeper look into his history within the Club Penguin community, FV Leadership and the reason behind his retirement.
Army History
As Cyber announces retirement from Fire Vikings leadership, let’s look back on how he first joined. Cyber, formerly known as Shazam, first came into contact with the Club Penguin Army community through the Watex Warriors in 2013. From there, he held notable roles in both the Doritos and the Special Weapons and Tactics. His most recent stint would be in the Blizzard Battalion, which he created in July 2024. After shutting down his creation, Cyber would move to the Fire Vikings, where he worked up the ranks quickly. March 24, 2026 marked the day he was officially promoted to Fire Commander by founder, YellowTyper.
Following Klombe’s removal from leadership after word about potential defacements got out, Cyber officially joined the ranks. Since their promotion, he has quickly grown the army to be a strong small/medium army, later becoming the Vikings first Fire Lord. With many alliances formed, strong showings in tournaments they joined and successful wars against their enemies, Cyber showed the army community how successful the Vikings are.
Cyber Announces Retirement from Fire Vikings Leadership
On May 15, Cyber officially announced that he would be stepping aside temporarily. Stating reasons such as university building up and life getting busy, he made the decision to return until August. In his short announcement, he ensured the army he would not be leaving permanently and thanked everyone he worked with for their support. While the rest of the leadership is still intact, Cyber’s absence will leave a void in the army for the time being.
Club Penguin Army League reached out to Cyber for an interview regarding his retirement and hear about what comes next for him. Here’s what we’ve got:
What ultimately led to your decision to retire from FV leadership?
I’ve been very busy with university matters recently and realized I didn’t have time to pursue such an important leadership role, so I made the right decision and decided to retire.
What advice would you give to future FV leaders following your retirement?
I suggest they continue with the mindset of a leader, the motivation necessary to move forward with the army, and achieve great goals that I was unable to accomplish for the army.
How would you describe your overall experience during your time in FV leadership?
I met many new people, in addition to several people I recruited. I have great affection for the creator Yellow, and the leaders Siri, Nicoolas, and Klombe. It was a good experience leading the FV, even if it was only for a short period.
As both FV’s 19th leader and first Fire Lord, what do those titles mean to you personally?
Being the leader of FV meant a lot to me, and being the main leader as well. I hope that soon many honorable people will achieve these titles that were bestowed upon me.

Overall, Cyber’s time in FV leadership marked a memorable chapter within the army’s history. From becoming the 19th leader to being Fire Lord, his leadership left an impact on both the army and its members. Although, his retirement brought his journey as leader to an end, Cyber’s legacy will be remembered throughout the community.
