On April 25th, the Void Troops celebrated their first anniversary, marking a year of legacy and accomplishments. In this post, we’ll explore their journey over the past year and take a look at how they commemorated the occasion.
A Year’s Legacy
On April 27th, 2025, the Void Troops opened their doors by Logical and Kyle104 after a massive internal split in the Doritos of Club Penguin. The army started off on a bumpy ride, winning major conflicts against the Special Weapons and Tactics, Penguins of Agartha, and soon enough DCP in just the first month.
The Void Troops had faced several controversies throughout the first few months, for example, being caught multilogging in the Around the World Cup II tournament. Things would escalate immensely, as on June 14th, co-creator Kyle104 would deface the army after internal disagreements. The Void Troops would quickly recover, under the leadership of Logical, Kira, Antman, and Ugly. Conflict and warfare would be the epitome of this era of VT, waging war against several armies such as the Templars, People’s Imperial Confederation, and Dark Warriors.
As their presence in the community grew, the Void Troops rose to the major status, consistently placing around 5th in the Top Tens and drawing event sizes between 15 and 25. Diplomacy also played a crucial role in their political presence, forming alliances with the Help Force, Scarlet Republic, and the Teutons.
Close to the end of the year, the army faced several challenges, most importantly the massive leadership changes. This led to quick instability, with the army not being well settled in with new faces such as Judy, Dbsa, Zekrome, and Apryl. This led to the slow decrease in the size of events, and soon enough, the shutdown of the Void Troops on February 7th, after their last battle against the Romans in the Army World Cup tournament.
Anniversary Celebrations
Despite their turbulent journey, the Void Troops returned to celebrate their first anniversary on April 25th. The event saw them reach a peak of 19 troops online. Alongside the celebration, former leader Kira was inducted as a VT Legend. Though the recognition came later than expected, the VT Legend Committee chose to honor her contributions and lasting impact on the army’s development.

How do you feel about VT celebrating 1 year since opening?
Kyle104: It feels great, although i wasn’t able to experience the whole year with the rest of the guys at the end of the day it feels amazing to have contributed to a creation of one of the best armies in the past couple of years.
What has been your favorite memory about VT this past year?
Kyle104: Probably beating the doritos and watching their downfall, I always hated them since the OG.
Do you think VT will be able to recreate the legacy of the first generation, or even beyond?
Kyle104: I believe the second generation will be 100x bigger than the first generation.
