On November 15th, 2025, the revival of the OG army Marines was discovered through their Discord server. In this report, we take a closer look at the army’s history and the events that led to this sudden comeback.
History
The Marines of Club Penguin were originally founded on November 20th, 2006 by Sf1998, becoming the fifth army ever created and rose to major forces like ACP and the Romans at the time. Then they became close allies with ACP until the army faded away in mid-2007, with no formal retirement from Sf1998.
In 2014, Sidie9 and Rexeh/Agentrds brought the army back, later joined by leaders Apollo and Totidile (Revan). Despite early promise, this generation collapsed due to motivation and leadership issues. Later, Revan approached Sidie9 with another plan to remake the army. Although Sidie9, then an ACP Second in Command, couldn’t join directly, she supported the idea, setting the stage for a future Marines generation that would then become a successful army.

Revival
On November 15th, 2025, the Marines publicly released a picture from their first event of the year through their Discord. Leader Sidie captioned it as: “FIRST MARINES EVENT 2025. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
Despite the event photo being posted, the server’s chat activity remains minimal. Based on observations of their Discord server roles, the army is currently led by three Generals: Sidie, Shallisa, and Miffy.

Club Penguin Army League reached out to Marines leader Sidie for an exclusive interview to learn more about the revival and the army’s future plans.
What inspired the sudden revival of the Marines in 2025 after so many years?
Sidie: On a genuine note I really adore the Marines, the army holds a special place in my heart. But we really just revived Marines to have a bit of fun. Joel ruined the last Marines gen so it’s not like this could be much worse.
Can you tell us about the main goals and vision for this new generation of the army?
Sidie: We aim to host at least one event a month.

The revival of the Marines in 2025 marks a new chapter for one of Club Penguin’s OG armies. With a long history dating back to 2006, the army has returned under the leadership of Sidie, Shallisa, and Miffy. Despite limited server activity so far the first event of the year and the leaders vision to host regular events show a promising start for this new generation.
