Conflict is still taking place before we wave goodbye to September, with the People’s Imperial Confederation issuing a declaration of war against the Water Vikings. This has come as a shock to the community, with many stating that this is clearly a one-sided match. As tensions continue to rise between the two armies, we must understand where the conflict emerged from, and attempt to understand the gravity of this situation.

On September 28, 2025, an announcement was made on the People’s Imperial Confederation website by scars4321 (the current leader of PIC) stating that war has been waged against Water Vikings. The reasoning given on the post states “Villa said on god i wouldnt declare” with Water Viking staff Valentina mocking PIC saying “on my LIFE you wont”. This war is very unique, in specific regards to terms 4, 11 and 13, as well as it being declared seemingly on a whim – unlike past wars which have usually stemmed from long-term conflict or community antagonism.
To better understand the motivations and causes behind this conflict, the CPAL Reporting Team contacted Scars4321 for an interview.
In your post, you state the war was declared because you were dared to, was there anything else that prompted this declaration of war?
Basically, amidst a very crowded PIC VC, there was WV staff in training, Val. She was talking about how amazing WV was and so I said: “Boiiiiii I’ll declare on WV RIGHT NOW.” This resulted in Villa saying, “You won’t you won’t,” and Val saying, “On my LIFE you won’t declare.” Obviously I couldn’t tolerate the disrespect so i promptly started screensharing and drafting the declaration. Val also partially being the reason for this war, had the war named after her as a little joke.
What is your aim with this war, and do you believe it will have an impact on the wider community?
Just to have fun and experience mutual growth between our two armies tbh. This war just seems as a good learning opportunity leading-wise, but also a good way for us to be able to grow our army. As for the wider community, I don’t expect much.
Was there anything that inspired the more unique war terms?
Wars recently just feel WAY too stale, so we decided to switch things up and try to be a little more unique. Unfortunately, admins invalidated the special ones :((!!!!
What is your strategy to defeat WV?
In all honesty, we are fully prepared to get OVERLY f*cked by WV.. LOL…. I guess in order to win, whoever multis for our battles, per term 11, will have to do their job to the fullest!

When asked for any closing remarks, scars4321 said (this is a direct quote), “VIVA PIC COOLGIRL OWNS OFF WITH AARONSTONES HEAD”
Two battles have already been scheduled, the PIC invasion of “Ravens No No Spot” and the WV invasion of “Make Original War Terms”. Despite the banter nature of this war, it would appear both armies are bringing their all, and hype is at its peak as troops prepare to take to the battlefield once more.

As tensions between the armies continue to arise, we must ask ourselves: Is it packwatch for WV? Can PIC even max more than 15 at any battle? Will WV staff Via be held accountable for her warmongering? We can only wait and see!
