After the removal of Yellow Typer from the Board of Directors, several discussions took place to reevaluate the entire situation. In this statement, you will read about the changes happening in the league, the system, and most importantly, the administration.
The Club Penguin Army League was revived by Ugly 7 months ago, and during this revival, there has been a unification between CPAL and the Small Medium Army League. This unification was undertaken under trust between the two entities, and of course between all the admins. Last week, Yellow Typer, a former admin, announced that CPAL would be hiring a new department in the league known as Admin in Training. In discussions, he stated that it would be nice to have a couple of people in the training position of admin, and wants to know their insights on how they would make the league better. After Ugly saw the solo decision made by Yellow Typer, he stepped in and decided to coup him on his own. After Yellow Typer was removed, there were countless discussions with the CPAL advisory and Midnight to reevaluate the situation.
After they talked things out, it was carried on to both Yellow Typer and Ugly to state their final decisions of bringing Yellow Typer back and removing Ugly. With this new administration team, there was also a decision that CPAL will cease to exist and will be rebranding to SMAL.
While Yellow Typer’s quick decision to add something that was not agreed upon was reckless, it was even more reckless of Ugly to jump the gun on an official coup without a vote as well. Although Ugly’s efforts and intentions for this league were good, his decisions were inadequate. We do appreciate everything you have done, and we are sorry it has come down to this.
Ugly will now be removed as the Chief Executive, along with the Board of Directors’ role. Effective Immediately.
After careful discussion of the Admin in Training role that was announced a week ago, we have come to the conclusion that everyone who applied for this role will be accepted! The role will be given out shortly, and the community members with this role will go through heavy training every day. Your induction to becoming an administrator here will be based on what you’re capable of and how you handle situations. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted!
Moving Forward
- The new administration will consist of Yellow Typer and Midnight
- Midnight will be appointed as the new Chief Executive.
- Ugly will be removed from the administration.
- CPAL will be known as SMAL.
- Everyone who applied for Admin in Training will be accepted.
The decisions made will be finalized. Protection for S/M armies lives again. Since the server is being rebranded to SMAL, there will be changes to this website, and it will be rebranded soon, so keep your eyes peeled for this.
