In an unexpected turn of events, the newly revived Water Troops have declared war on the Special Weapons and Tactics. Just 7 hours after opening their doors, the Water Troops bravely make their first impressions, taking on none other than SWAT.
The Water Troops made their return to the community earlier today, hosting a modest opening event where they reached a max of 6 penguins. Despite their small size, they wasted no time in diving into action, issuing a bold war declaration against one of the community’s most recognizable names.
A Sudden Splash Into War
While most armies tend to build up their forces before engaging in conflict, Water Troops have chosen a far more aggressive route. This fast-paced entry has raised eyebrows throughout the army community, with many questioning whether they’re ready for a full-scale war against SWAT.
The declaration, posted just hours after their revival event, signals confidence or perhaps an intent to make a statement right out of the gate.
SWAT, on the other hand, has had a rocky few weeks. As is typical for this time of year, the September Drop seems to have hit them particularly hard. Recent events have seen lower than usual sizes, and internal activity has slowed down, potentially opening the door for an opportunistic challenger like Water Troops. Whether SWAT can rally their forces and maintain control, or whether this war will expose deeper cracks, remains to be seen.
We could see that a couple of invasions have already been scheduled by both armies, signifying a serious commitment by the two in winning this war. While SWAT’s maxes have trumbled they are still a force to be reckoned with, evidently so in recent tournaments.
Club Penguin Army League reached out to both armies’ leaders Raven and WilliamW2010 to get a clear idea of how this war pans out.
What is your reasoning behind declaring war on SWAT?
Raven: Ermm war is fun and seat sucks
How do you think this war will affect SWAT?
WilliamW2010: I believe this is our chance to show our rise
Anything you would like to say to your opponent?
Raven: How much wood could a wood chick chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood
WilliamW2010: Let’s hope you’re ready for the saga that’s about to unfold.
What’s Next?
With Water Troops already showing signs of aggression and SWAT needing to recover from their dip, the stage is set for an interesting and potentially chaotic war. Will the underdog revival army prove the doubters wrong? Or will SWAT crush the challenge and reassert their dominance?
