Tragedy struck on September 26, as several Small/Medium leaders were banned from CPA Battleground in a massive ban wave. Harming seven armies and also their leaders, this incident was really shocking for the community. Let’s dive deeper into this topic and see what we can discover.
Background
On September 17th, several Small/Medium armies all got together to form The White Order, an alliance officially launched on September 17th, 2025, made to start a war with the Rebel Penguin Federation due to several exposé posts coming out. This alliance aimed to raise awareness and address the situation, as well as hold RPF accountable. It consisted of seven armies: Void Troops, Penguins of Agartha, Elite Guardians, Scarlet Republic, People’s Imperial Confederation, Romans, and the Shadow Legionaries.

The Incident Day
On September 26th, several leaders were contacted by a CPA Battleground stating that they were banned from CPAB for approximately 2 weeks, some being for 3 months, for the reason of having an inappropriate tactic take place in one of TWO’s attles vs RPF. That, of course, left all the leaders who were banned in shock, preventing them from logging on for their own events and helping their army out.
CPA Battleground claimed that the leaders did not stop the tactic from being sent during the battle. And of course, some of the leaders fought back, claiming the tactic was made 10 minutes before the battle, as well as finding it ridiculous to stop mid-battle for a tactic.
Aftermath
The sheer number of armies affected by this ban could severely affect their events and performance, especially S/M armies. As seen, the September Drop already impacted the armies, and this might be a double-down. Armies like the Shadow Legionnaires have seen a temporary shutdown due to the banning of the main leader, Thunder.
This decision by CPA Battleground further raised many questions within the community regarding their moderation team. As the affected armies try to adapt by using other alternative CPPS’ like Club Penguin Journey, we could see a return of regular activity for them very soon.
Club Penguin Army League reached out to affected leaders Scars, Villa, Thunder222, and Apryl for an interview.
How do you think this will impact other Armies?
Villa: The ban will definitely hit armies a bit hard, although not armies all banned so that’s good.
Apryl: i think the two ban wave will make smaller armies scared to war majors, seeing how many armies were silenced
Scars: It’ll definitely hurt seeing as some armies lost their leaders and will have to wait a bit for them to be able to lead again.
Thunder: its terrible for many sm armies that have only 1-2 leaders
Do you think CPAB took the Right Decision?
Villa: Seeing what the tactic was tbh it was fair, it was very dumb 😭
Apryl: i think cpab’s decision to ban everyone was idiotic
Scars : NO
Thunder: Kinda, after it was a silly tactic made by someone but they have to prove it, it was a reference to floyds death, Logicals ban is pretty justificable to say to least….
What was your First thought seeing the Ban Message?
Villa: I had no clue they had done that tactic it caught me so off guard how they would come up with something like that.
Apryl: i was confused seeing the message because i wasnt at the event and it was early in the morning
Scars: I saw the ban DM when I woke up to lead an ausia so I was tweaking out
Thunder: Joever.
What are your Future Goals in Club Penguin Armies (N/A if none)
Villa: 👀
Apryl: N/A
Scars: PENGUIN PONDERERS RISE
Thunder: Coming back stronger wjth less stupid kids
Finally, do you have Anything Else to add?
Villa: SCARS AND I ARE UNBANNED RAHH
Apryl: nothing else gangstalicious
Scars: Nope
Thunder: Kazoo didnt deserve to get banned and he was in that trial with me and others
As seen, the ban definitely left a bad taste for the community. The lasting precedent being set by the CPA Battleground moderation could forever have all armies at risk of being severely banned over one slip-up. Many call for the CPA Battleground to adapt its moderation in a way favorable for the community rather than the organisations. What do you think though? Do you think CPAB took the right decision? Do you believe this situation could’ve been resolved in a better way?
