The Tsunamis of Club Penguin have officially rebranded into The Abyssal Tides, marking a new era. In a dramatic turn of events, a significant internal shift leads to the full rebranding of the Tsunamis, as well as the leadership.

Background / Revival
The Tsunamis were established in December’25 by Denizmyn. The army faced multiple setbacks, including their server being defaced twice. Despite these obstacles, they have displayed their strength by conducting events and facing conflicts against the likes of Crimson Sovereign and, just recently, the Teutons. On February 27th, the Tsunamis announced a full merge towards the Fire Vikings, ceasing all operations and giving their additional support to their allies. However, only the day later, they declared their intention to end their merger and announced a second generation in place.

On March 2nd, Deniz announced that a new name would be set in place for the new generation of the Tsunamis. There were many conflicts around the original name, as described by the leader that it resembles the Water Vikings too much. It was not until March 4th that the Abyssal Tides name would be adopted, alongside the revival event the same day, maxing a total of 5.

Post Revival
Unfortunately, the transition came with chaos, as Tokenlinenz was ousted from leadership. Tokenlinenz’s removal was driven by growing frustration within the army community, as many members felt his leadership had become increasingly power-hungry and harsh. Over time, this caused tension among members, as well as the founder, who believed the army needed more balanced leadership, and this ultimately resulted in his removal.

Following the leadership shake-up, the army moved quickly to restore balance within its ranks. To stabilize the command structure, Garfielddd was promoted to the High Command. His promotion was seen as a step toward steady leadership and recovery after the tensions surrounding Tokenlinen’s removal. The Abyssal Tide also conducted many moves just in their first week, including allying with the Fire Vikings, scheduling practice battles such as on the Cryo Vanguards, and declaring war on the Teutons in support of the Phantom Republic and their new allies Fire Vikings.
The Abyssal Tides’ opening has seen significant action take place already. With an ambitious leader and a fresh army with much potential, we could see this name pop up a lot more in the wider community as time goes on. As of today, March 8th, the army sees many battles scheduled against their war opponent in the Specter’s Retribution II war, highlighting a lot of influence the army seeks to hold.
