CP Army League: New Columns

CP Army League: New Columns

With the media department in Club Penguin Army League getting a new look, we have decided to introduce new, interesting, and intriguing columns that we will be releasing weekly!

Focusing On The Future

Club Penguin Army League is an organisation that always anticipates what’s ahead, and likes to focus on the future. At the same time, we look through the past and we learn from the mistakes of our predecessors. These are the themes we visualized and envisioned with the release of these new columns.

Through recent months, we have made it our utmost priority to provide the community with quality and rapid posts and articles. Right now, we focus on bringing unique and creative ideas to turn the spotlight on intriguing column posts being released.

1. A Look Ahead

by: Ugly & Miffy

A Look Ahead follows the rhetoric of “history repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce”, looking at an army’s past, drawing similarities with its present, and evaluating these to see what could happen in the future.

This column seeks to demonstrate that we should learn and understand the history associated with armies, by using them to predict and contrast with decisions and their impacts in our contemporary age.

2. Biggest Blunders

by: Ugly

Biggest Blunders examines historical events that led to an army’s setback or ultimately contributed to its demise, either immediately or later on. We will explore these events, give a detailed analysis on the subject, and give our input and opinion as well as advice on the matter, depending on what it is.

This unique column sheds more light on old events or decisions that took place in our history, highlighting missteps made by armies or individuals, questionable leader decisions, and political affairs that our community today can examine and learn from.

3. What If?

by: CP Army Hub

This intriguing column was originally made by Club Penguin Army Hub. As the title suggests, we revise old events in history that took place and really ask ourselves, What If?

The ideas regarding this column are endless, ranging from wars and conflicts, tournaments, internal changes, army signings, transfers, treaties – the list is almost endless. As of right now, we don’t want to unveil as of yet our plans for this column, but, rest assured, these will be very interesting

As we plan to carry out these columns, we would also be very welcoming to take suggestions by our fellow community members. Club Penguin Army League now moves into a phase of quality management, focusing on merit and value in each post we publish, and not just laying out filler posts for useless statistics. The community is our biggest priority, and we take pride in delivering and providing quality and excellent service for you, not only as a media organisation but also as a league.
