The Club Penguin Army League board is pleased to announce the tournament: Tropical Rumble I. As mentioned in our last post, we’re revamping the style of warfare in the community, and as such, this will be the league’s first event to get armies acquainted with our new ideas.
How will it work?
This tournament is a free-for-all and will last only 30 minutes unless overtime is needed. All armies will log on simultaneously and compete for control over specific rooms on the island. Every 10 minutes, each army will choose which room to target. A set of rooms will be determined by the judges, with each room assigned a different point value. For instance, the Iceberg could be valued at 10 points, while the Town might be worth 6. Every 10 minutes, the point values of the rooms will reset, giving leaders the chance to adjust their strategies on the fly. They can choose to take a risk by going after a high-value room or play it safe in rooms with lower point values.
