This week sees several activities taking place, with many armies engaging in warfare, alliances, and some announcing revival. We will go over all topics that occurred the last few days, and continue to update until the end of the week.
Saturday
Romans Declare War On Witches [LATEST]

It seems warfare is not yet off the table for the Small/Medium community this week. An unexpected turn of events, as the Romans wage war on the Witches. The recent alliance declared by the Phantom Republic and Romans definitely made its impact, as they plan on finishing what they started. The Romans explain simply in their post that they declared war for no reason, waging war for the love of the game.
These two adversaries have had their fair share of battle experience. The Romans plan to give their all in this war, and the Witches do not plan to surrender so easily. With tensions rising between the two armies, only fate will tell what the outcome of this war will be.
Club Penguin Army League contacted Roman leader Znation and Witches leader Dexter Morgan for a statement on the matter.

Scarlet Republic Announces Shutdown [NEW]

The Scarlet Republic was a new army to the scene, founded on January 4 2025, by Ghostt and Imvge – both former members of the Army of Club Penguin. They managed an impressive turnout of 21 troops at their opening event, and from there they made an impact on the community that won’t ever be forgotten. The army demonstrated dominance in battle, being able to take rooms and tie against the much larger Templars as well as Void Troops. Having been an army that started from scratch in our modern era, this is considered no small feat, as SR built itself up from nothing and was able to contest some of the most proficient armies.
However, recently, the army has experienced a slow decline in numbers. Events have been held less frequently, with SR not showing up for the practice battle against the People’s Imperial Confederation and Void Troops. This seemed to spark a change in Ghostt, who announced on the same day that the army’s first generation would be coming to a close with an indefinite hiatus.
Club Penguin Army League reached out to Ghostt for a statement on the matter:
What motivated this shutdown and what will be your biggest focus in rebuilding the army for its second generation?
“After many weeks if not months of slow events and decreasing activity from SR altogether, I have decided that we just needed to stop pushing ourselves so hard. We will move forward focusing on our hotspot events and trying to bring new faces to our community. Anything to reduce pressure and stress on my staff team and we will look into more fun ways for our community members to interact inside and outside of cpps events/battles.”
What was your favourite part/biggest highlight of leading the first generation of SR?
“Honestly my favorite part of SR was the fact that we rose up over the course of roughly 6 months and were able to take on numerous armies(SWAT, Red Ravagers, Shadow Legionnaires, Dark Warriors, Templars) while we were at it. Most notably the battle in ATWC2 Grand Finals when Templars were a S/M army. With 50% less troops we brought them to overtime but ended up losing OT. In my eyes, other than starting such a successful army from scratch, that was our biggest accomplishment in the Armies community so far.”
Phantom Republic Surrenders PIC War

After a quick war, the Phantom Republic surrenders its war against the People’s Imperial Confederation. The war ended in a swift 1-0-0 [W-L-T] for the Confederates.
Although the war did not last for long, the two armies still appear to be hostile towards each other. With tensions rising between the Small/Medium community, we could potentially see more wars initiated soon.

Club Penguin Army League reached out to Phantom Republic leader Photo for a statement regarding the war.
Seeing as how prcp just revived, the pic war was more of a win than a loss in my eyes. first off PIC’s war reason was hypocritical, while we do respect them trying to “protect” a new army (even though the war was caused by misunderstanding of the full picture of the witches merge situation) . secondly the war gave us a gauge of our power as this was the first battle of our generation, so we have a starting point to work with. Win or lose, war is war and as of right now it’s better that prcp focuses on growing itself before warring an equal power
Thursday
Witches and Wii Phone Announce Alliance

On Thursday, October 16, it was reported that there were sounds of ringing coming from WCP headquarters. As it turns out, Wii Phone was on the line, requesting an alliance from the army. The Witches were quick to answer their call and, soon, an official alliance was formed between the two armies.
It would appear that the Witches are continuing to hold on after their war against the Phantom Republic and making diplomatic decisions to further expand their presence. We can only wonder who will drink the Witches’ brew next, or who will pick up the next call from Wii Phone
Wednesday
Witches Cancel Merge With Phantom Republic

A quite unexpected turn of events occurred, as the Witches canceled the merger plan with the Phantom Republic. Just a day before, the two armies ceased war for a peace deal with the Witches merging into PRCP. This came with a couple of conditions, which, if not upheld, then the deal would be reversed.
This ended up being the case, as the Witches had a change of plans following hostility by PRCP. They could not stand the continuous animosity and decided that a merger is off the table going forward.
Tuesday
Romans x Phantom Republic Alliance

Among the ongoing warfare and change of foreign affairs, we witness the Romans and the Phantom Republic declaring an alliance. This comes after the fact the Romans were allied with the Thunder Troops, and since PRCP is the successor to the army they decided to carry the alliance.
Yellow Typer mentions that the two armies plan to support each other and further grow army relations going forward. With the growing intensity in the battlefield, we may or may not see the Romans have a part in the matter as well.
PIC Declares War On Phantom Republic

Approximately two hours after the surrender of the Witches, the People’s Imperial Confederation steps in. The Phantom Republic sees a new opponent on their plate, with a declaration of war waged by the Confederates. This comes after the Witches were forced to merge, with PIC calling it unlawful and dishonorable by PRCP. The War of Bullying Children has commenced.
Phantom Republic Declares War On Witches of CP, Ends With Merger

The two newly revived armies clash against each other, as the Phantom declares war on the Witches. The announcement came a day after PRCP opened its doors, making it an interesting pop-up. Witches would surprisingly quickly surrender this war, marking an end to the War of Black Moon.
An even bigger surprise turn of events occurred, as the Witches announced a merger with the Phantom Republic. The announcement mentions conditions negotiated between the two armies for this decision to be possible. Witches also emphasize the possible reverting of the deal if PRCP does not uphold their part of the bargain.
Witches Announce Alliance With SWAT & FV

Following the official opening of the Witches to the community, they conducted two diplomatic affairs to expand their army. Those being with Special Weapons and Tactics, and the Fire Vikings, both prominent Small/Medium armies within the community.
These alliances prove to be prominent, as the Witches are confident in maintaining relations and assisting each other in war. Only time will prove when these alliances will come into play.
Monday
Phantom Republic Announces Opening

While there isn’t much information about why Thunder Troops closed, an Army revival may be linked. Following TT’s closure announcement, an Army known as Phantom Republic announced a revival in a matter of minutes after TT’s closure. Led by xdemon and Photo. The army had a successful max of 10 Troops online at once, hitting the requirements for a valid registration.
Phantom Republic Revival Event
Phantom Republic is a fairly new army originally known as the Nether Knights. Founded by xdemon and Billybob, the army quickly rose up and made so much progress. They even waged war against the Rebel Alliance, coming out with a score of 8-0-2 in favor of the Rebels, which was Phantom Republic’s last activity before ceasing operations and officially shutting down.
As the army takes ground in the community, we could expect much more coming from them. With the previous Thunder Troops leader, xdemon, taking leadership, it is safe to say war declarations will be on the table.
Thunder Troops Announce Closure

Thunder Troops is a relatively unknown and incredibly old army, founded by Jack in 2011. They have managed to host events actively, and on 2011 April 9, they announced their first ever battle for land, which was the invasion of flippers against the Global Defenders. However, Thunder Troops weren’t satisfied with how they were doing as they weren’t as their expectations, and in June 2011, they announced a Temporary shutdown until the Troops became active and thrived again. The Troops waited until the army finally decided to announce a possible comeback. But sadly, it never came to life
After more than a decade, Thunder Troops finally decided to reopen, following a revival by AB, Turtel, xdemon, and Tinyguy, after they were officially given revival permissions by Antman, a former TT commander and an active Void Troops leader. The army had its successful opening event with a maximum of 8 troops online.
On October 14th, 2025, xdemon would announce that the army would be ceasing operations and that it was fun while it lasted. Truly an unexpected and shocking announcement, because Thunder Troops just arrived back to the community not too long ago.
Witches of CP Open Their Doors

October 13 was a monumental day in the Army’s community, as it marked the founding of the Witches of Club Penguin by Kidboy12edit and Katsura. The army held its opening event, successfully maxing 5 penguins (or should I say, witches?).
Kidboy is a fresh face within the community, having joined this year into the Fire Vikings, before leaving in October following a demotion. He then went on to briefly lead the Arctic Vikings until that was shut down to be succeeded by the Witches.
This has certainly been an exciting week for armies thus far. We continue to witness several announcements and activities regarding the mentioned armies in recent days. Club Penguin Army League will continue to report on the latest news and to further update this post until the week ends.
