Flippers Incident: Dramatic Agreement Between Void Troops & Templars

During the ongoing Divine Reckoning II war between the Void Troops and Templars, an unprecedented situation took place recently. We will investigate all of the events that took place in this incident, explain the initial error, and explore the aftermath of the situation.

Background

On November 15, the Void Troops initiated the Divine Reckoning II war, a declaration against the Templars under disputed territory. This led to a lot more armies taking a side in this war, with the People’s Imperial Confederation, Dark Warriors, and the Romans officially joining in with scheduled invasions. The current score of the war stands at 12-0-4[W-T-L] in favor of the VT front. As of today, November 25, a capital invasion has already been scheduled on Jerusalem for the following day.

What many did not notice is a recent agreement made with VT and TCP that restructured some of the planned invasions at the time. This came after a misstep by one of the Head Judges in Club Penguin Army Judges, Shpec, who accidentally ended the battle of Flippers too early. A formal agreement was made to continue the battle at 10:40am EST, one hour and ten minutes after the initial scheduled time.

The battle resumed, however, Templars seemingly did not show up, as they ended up changing their stance regarding the agreement around ten to twenty minutes before. The Templars had accused the Void Troops of pressuring the Head Judge as well as TCP leader Bora to agree to continue the battle, in which the Templars urged for a reschedule of the battle entirely.

This large back and forth led to a lot of disagreements with no official statements, however, it was only two days later that an official announcement would be made by Spotty on November 23, 6:28 pm EST. The announcement addressed review requests by both armies, and the disputed battle that took place.

[Spotty meant Flippers instead of Great White]

Aftermath

This decision led to the invalidation of the capital invasion by Void Troops, as Flippers would still be owned by Templars. With the judging mistake addressed and out of the way, it came down to a scheduling matter between the two armies stressed by VT that they would be in an unfair circumstance due to a lack of communication. Club Penguin Armies would then step in to facilitate the disputes and for both armies to come to an agreement.

Approximately two hours after the CPAJ announcement, CPA granted an agreement that the capital invasion wouldn’t be invalidated but it would be replaced by Flippers to settle the land and rescheduled to 6:41 pm EST instead of 6:00 pm EST. It was noticed by some that the invasion was below the 24-hour notice, however, after further examination, it was deemed part of the agreement between the two armies.

Club Penguin Army League reached out to Void Troops leader Xdemon for a statement on the overall incident.

Xdemon: The battle invalidation only delayed the inevitable capital invasion, but I’m still glad we could come to an agreement with TCP with little to no drama/conflict despite being at war.

Also props to HJs and admins for being so cooperative throghout the entire negotiation process w TCP

Despite the Void Troops and Templars’ clear animosity toward each other, it is quite notable to see the two come to an agreement to continue this fascinating and entertaining war. Despite Void Troops’ win on the second battle of Flippers, the Templars still remain eager and locked in to defend their capital to the very end. This war has proven to be quite entertaining, given not only the performance by the two armies, but also the drama everyone likes to see.
