Shadow Legionnaires Declare War On Fire Vikings
Just over 24 hours ago, trouble in the small/medium army community ignited. What started as a peaceful morning ended in chaos as the Shadow Legionnaires declare war on the Fire Vikings. Claims of troopstealing, army hopping and overall discontent with the current leaders led to war breaking out in the army community. What will come from this war is unknown, but, read on as we dive into the reasoning behind it.

A Look Into The Competing Armies
Shadow Legionnaires, created May 3 2025 by Thunder222, have been a dominant force in the S/M community. Having been apart of multiple higher command setups across Water Vikings, Secret Service and Elite Guardians, Thunder knows his way around war. From tournament participation to war declarations, the Legionnaires have made themselves known lately. Their most notable war was during the standoff between The White Order vs the Rebel Penguin Federation, contributing greatly. Meanwhile, the army has been on the up as of late, inducting GreenVege as their 3rd leader and claiming a trophy in the most recent March Madness tournament. It’s no surprise war has broken out especially after GreenVeges most recent statements during his leadership induction.

On the opposing side, we have the Fire Vikings. Created on November 16, 2024 by YellowTyper, the army has become well known across the community. Going through many leadership changes, most notably Zujot and YellowTyper’s retirements, they have been constantly rebuilding. Following a year of solid activity and consistency, the army ceased operations on November 22, 2025, though later returned just months later. The Vikings, not shy of a war, have teamed up with many small armies across their existence such as the Romans, in an effort to further grow. Their most notable alliance would come through the Templars, who later declared war, deeming the army as ‘illegal’. This alliance would later be reinstated following leadership changes within the Templars.

Shadow Legionnaires Declare War
As chaos spread across the army servers, what began as trash talking escalated into the Shadow Legionnaires declaring war on the Vikings. In a post on the Legionnaires website, Thunder highlights multiple instances of troop stealing by leader Cyber. Their post, titled “Operation: No Fireplace,” argues that they are strong enough to claim what they believe is rightfully theirs – Zero Grau. SL leaders say Zero Grau, which “was promised to them many years ago,” will now be reclaimed. With the first two battles taking place tomorrow, both FV and the Legionnaires will be hoping to strike the first blow.

Following the first declaration, Fire Vikings allies, the Abyssal Tides, joined forces and later declared war on SL. In their brief declaration, leader TropicStorm said they were joining to prevent SL from messing with their brothers. Formerly known as Tsunamis, the Abyssal Tides have faced significant disruption within their community in recent times. A brief shutdown, leadership changes, and retirements have left the army unstable for quite some time. Despite this, they have continued building and have now officially entered the war.

To hear more about their thoughts on the war, Club Penguin Army League reached out to leaders Thunder222, Klombe, and Abyssal Tides creator Denizmyn.
Thunder222, SL Leader:
before the invasions and defenses even started i already saw how FV with Yellowtyper are going to take this and take advantage of visitors and allies that jojo has invalidated war term 1 and 2 of our declaration.
Thank you Jojo teri for making this war possibly not interesting. Anyway
They got invalidated because there was a recent board meeting of how to change 1v1s and making armies war each other, which I AM a represenetor but I didnt take much notice, invalidating them is kinda of a cold punch to us
we didnt do much research on their leadership but having 2 european leaders isnt an excuse meanwhile klombe cant even lead as he told us, which shows they are already showing how defensive of their land will be during this war
Denizmyn:
Klombe:
With battles being scheduled from all sides, this war isn’t just all talk and will be a sight to see. In a community lacking chaos and drama as of late, these armies will certainly bring an atmosphere through the war. Thunder argues that the troopstealing is the major deciding factor, meanwhile FV and ATCP argue differently. What happens in the opening clashes may determine how the conflict develops from here.
