Quarantine Mode: PIC Announces Lockdown

This past weekend, the People’s Imperial Confederation went on lockdown. Let us look at what led up to their lockdown amidst trying times for the army.

Humble Beginnings

The People’s Imperial Confederation has a longstanding history within the community. Originally founded in 2019 by Sidie9, the army has since become a Small/Medium powerhouse, establishing itself as not only an army with a prominent legacy but also as a symbol of glory. PIC has dominated many S/M tournaments since opening, making the army synonymous with glory within the community.

Recent History

PIC has recently undergone many changes, especially this summer when former leaders Scars and Villa returned to aid the army. The two of them, alongside recently reinducted Alucard, have been doing great works for the army. PIC has risen to the top 5 on the top tens since their reinduction and has been showing consistent activity since. Additionally, the army recently participated in CPA’s October Horrors, becoming the S/M runner-up behind the Dark Warriors, once more revealing that the army has success on its sights.

Lockdown

On November 8, PIC leader Scars officially announced that the army would be entering a period of lockdown where they would not engage in org activity, instead working on their inner community. This came as a shock to many despite PIC’s recent success. Only time will tell if the army will grow from this lockdown and continue to become a prominent S/M power.

Lockdown announcement

Club Penguin Army League reached out to Alucard for an official statement on the matter.

I think our lockdown will prove beneficial, we’re using it as a way to grow our the community aspect of our army without having to worry about events too much

It’s evident that despite the lockdown, the Confederation is still working on growing its army, with possible success soon in its sights. Despite the lockdown, it is clear that PIC still has intentions on growing, remerging onto the army scene better than ever. What do you think? How do you think PIC will fare after the lockdown?
