Recently, many small/medium armies, both from the past and new, entered the community. This list of armies includes the Tsunamis, Teutons, Janitors, Phoenix, and Fire Vikings. We look into the entry of each army.
Teutons
The Teutons of Club Penguin are the oldest army out of the mentioned armies. The Teutons originally launched in August 2014 under Earthing and Brigade3. This generation saw quick growth with a sixth place finish in the Top Ten ranking for September 14, 2014. This generation saw some defacements, troopstealing, threats, and a hack. These struggles unfortunately put an end to this generation. The second generation of Teutons lasted only a few days at the beginning of June 2015 due to a major defacement. The third generation lasted longer from August to October 2016. Initially, the army functioned as normal and rose slowly in the ranks of Club Penguin Army Central. However, they faced another defacement by a leader at the time. To stay consistent, a leader started to multilog despite staff leaving the army. Eventually, CPAC took action, and this led to a decline of the army, closing out its run on the original Club Penguin.
Recently, Justin, a former leader of Teutons, decided to revive the army with not only a Teutons legend, Rockstar1819, on board, but newer generation leaders as well. Justin originally got involved with the army shortly before the end of the original Club Penguin. The fourth generation includes leaders Alucard, Scars, and Villa along with a list of experienced veterans of armies as advisors. They built the army up slowly, not wishing to hurry a revival attempt in case it led to failure. On January 17, 2026, they officially ran the revival event, with a max of 21.
Janitors
The Janitors were created by Da Best in April 2020. The army’s first generation lasted for approximately one month with Da Best, Pranav, and Jaren as leaders, before closing in May. The Janitors came back with the initiation of Club Penguin Rewritten. This time, they were active for only two months before merging into the Recon Federation of Club Penguin. Da Best brought it back in early 2023 for a third generation, hiring Jodi along the way.
The army came back for a short-lived fourth generation under Pranav and Zall, declaring war on the Tsunamis of Club Penguin. They shut down before the war ended, due to busy schedules with other armies.
Fire Vikings
The Fire Vikings was founded on November 16, 2024, by Yellow Typer. They placed twelfth in their first Top Ten, which signalled a good beginning. From here, the army stayed fairly quiet for the first generation. Unfortunately for the army, in December, they merged into the Dark Pirates.
The Vikings returned in February 2025, with a max of 10 at their reopening. Following this, FV would again remain quiet with only an alliance with the Special Weapons and Tactics. However, their once-allies, the Templars, would declare war on them. This happened due to the army originally existing in 2009, and the creator long-gone from armies. The news followed the leave of one of the leaders, Zuj0t, who would return but retire again in October. They eventually shut down in November 2025.
They recently came back under a leadership panel of Zuj0t, Yellow Typer, and Klombe.
Tsunamis
The Tsunamis are a creation of a recent join of Club Penguin Armies, denizmyn. With the help of Mafia and Arceuszz, he recruited hard and attempted to get higher maxes. Unfortunately, both the Crimson Sovereign and Janitors declared on the Tsunamis. This put the army in a tough spot, as they depended on all leaders and a couple of visitors to build up their numbers. They eventually surrendered, but they pushed forward to attempt for consistency in sizes.
Phoenix
The Phoenix of CP is a creation of Arceuszz. They shut down for a short while, due to Arceuszz’s busy schedule, but interest from allies and troops brought it back. They have consistently maxed 2-3 troops throughout their first generation and their second generation.

But not only that we will be away beyond armies. We are a community first before anything. As part of this new chapter, Teutons has officially entered a state of conflict with SWAT. This war is not about noise or theatrics it is about testing our structure and proving that Teutons is prepared to stand its ground from day one. Every battle is an opportunity to sharpen our coordination and reinforce our identity as a serious, organized force. In parallel, we are proud to announce a new alliance with the Void Troops. This alliance is built on mutual respect, shared history, and aligned goals moving forward. Together, we aim to support one another competitively and strategically as both armies continue to grow and assert themselves within the community. Teutons is back focused, unified, and moving forward without hesitation. The revival has begun, the battles are underway, and this is only the start!
Pranav, Janitors leader: Janitors was meant to be a meme revival, with a script in place. However, that required some commitment from both Zall and myself. I chose not to put that commitment in due to my desire to join Dark Warriors instead and Zall understandably decided to step down too. As a result, the army was unsustainable.
Klombe, Fire Vikings leader: yellow said he was gonna revive the army in 2026, pixter was supposed to revive it but he left leadership as he was scared of running a army so i took his place after he left my goal is to reach top 10 and do better than last time
Denizmyn, Tsunamis leader: i founded tsunamis cuz i wanted my own army and my goals are is to reach top ten, get more recruits, and be a better army. and we have made lots of progress so far.
Arceuszz, Phoenix leader: Army opening: because I wanted to make my own army, why not, Shutdown: school, Goals: land
Each of the small/medium armies that still stand is trying its hardest to grow. Some are cruising better than others, while others prefer a slower pace or are struggling. Additionally, the Fire Vikings, Teutons, and Tsunamis are all participating in the Army World Cup, showing their mettle already. Which of these three armies can make it to the finals of the Army World Cup? How will all the armies mentioned rise again in the future?
