After a period of inactivity, the Scarlet Republic has reopened its doors. Let us look deeper into the army as it begins its second generation.

Ghostt and Image, former Army of Club Penguin members, founded the Scarlet Republic in January. In February, SR briefly waged war against the Rebel Penguin Federation, forcing their surrender. Weeks later, the army promoted longtime advisor Amira into leadership, formed a brother alliance with the Elite Guardians, and built relationships with the Aliens and the Penguins of Agartha. SR’s rapid rise culminated in a runner-up finish at the Around the World Cup after a hard-fought overtime loss to the Templars.
However, by September, the army began to struggle, especially after its leader, Annie, stepped down due to various real-life commitments. After a period of inactivity, the army officially entered a hiatus in October and inducted Riri as leader.

On December 9, Ghostt announced SR’s official return after two months of inactivity. Following Image’s retirement, Riri has stepped into his place, raising expectations for the revival of this once-great S/M beacon. We will certainly be watching to see how the Republic grows from here.

Club Penguin Army League reached out to SR leader Ghost to learn more about their revival.
What led to the decision to revive the Scarlet Republic now?
Ghostt: I felt that we were ready to revive because everyone’s activity was increasing again. Which was the main reason for hiatus initially
What are some of your plans for this new SR generation?
Ghostt: Our plans for this generation are to outperform the first generation but also to use what we learned and what we put time into. We setup a lot of the foundation that will make this generation good already. It is just a matter of making it happen.
Is there anything you regret in the previous generation that you would do differently now going forward?
Ghostt: I have no regrets other than maybe the fact we never declared any wars. I feel like that is a big part of the community and the fact that not many other small armies declare makes me feel we should consider it more just to give my troops the proper club penguin armies experience.
Any further comments for the community?
Ghostt: The Scarlets are back and the Golden Sun has risen. Now is our time to shine.
There seems to be a lot planned for this new generation of the Scarlet Republic, as they return with a bang. The leadership remains confident that the army will make its mark on the community once again, with the help of many old faces. How do you think SR’s revival will go? Do you think they will defy expectations?
