We don’t regularly witness a big split within the community that results in an inevitable shift in the trajectory of armies. This split stems from the concern of many army individuals regarding the current state of the league and the community. Very rarely do we see this evolving into a real direction towards a greater change, though, could this change in today’s CPA?

The Standard Expectations
The Club Penguin Armies community has long stood firm in allowing leagues to be a determining factor in upholding fair and adequate judgments and ensuring equal opportunities for all armies in a thriving environment. Administrations not only need to implement projects that benefit, but also decisions and conclusions that armies can find suitable and reasonable. Leagues existed not only as a means to establish proper and equal guidelines but also to provide revolutionary concepts and projects to continuously improve the experience of armies. Like it or not, this has been the common perspective that armies accepted and lived positively with, especially in the CPPS era.
Tournaments and map projects have also thrived under the era of leagues, as they offer an unbiased level of hosting alongside the use of determined Judges. Before the independence of Club Penguin Army Judges (CPAJ), many leagues, such as Club Penguin Army Hub, offered the use of neutral judges as a means to follow the concept of an impartial and quality league.

The Current State
Today, many groups and individuals within the community believe in the common idea that we are not living in a great state anymore and we should either let all hell break loose to revert to the originals or end it all. This idea was only common within armies in recent years, but now it has shifted to leagues and organisations that hold the community together.
The current situation is that armies aren’t pursuing the essence of what makes armies what they are. This could come down to many reasons, but the important subject is: are leagues slightly responsible for this problem?
Warfare / The Map
The overuse of alliances within major armies could come down to the standard developing or natural state of affairs; however, the lack of wars could be tied to how the league develops and evolves the map itself. Some find the map an unproductive measure for armies to conduct warfare, but the fact of the matter is that it is a fundamental part of what makes armies develop historical bounds. Armies pre-2010 and such before the creation of leagues, relied on fictional army-made maps to depict the current state of armies between major powerhouses at the time.

Many of the concepts that we see today are from old visions and inventions that armies at the time thought of or tried to bring into life. In today’s CPA, we have the resources to explore them and implement them; the only difference is that they have somehow become the death of armies. Again, the important subject is: are leagues slightly responsible for this problem?
Daily Life Of Armies
As a leader in the year 2025, you must have pre-existing notions and expertise as a legal practitioner in several states and countries overseas. You will come across situations where, if you are seen as a threat to the league’s reputation or do not follow the very strict line of what’s permitted and forbidden, then you will undergo a class action court case level lawsuit just so your army does not be penalized to death.

The fact of the matter is that the incompetent decision-making and handling of situations by leagues over the last two years have done irreparable damage to the foundation and image of the leagues. The inconsistencies and burdens we are left to fight amongst ourselves for are caused by one or two people’s insincere way of handling or viewing drama. We live in a time where an administration wholeheartedly believes people view them in a negative light, not because of their decisions, but because of our own “personal vendettas”. The problem is essentially you, not them.
Adding on top of that, the labeling of this era of leagues as the “golden” era, when it’s absolutely the worst era of leagues ever imaginable, and will probably lead to perhaps a huge reshaping in the landscape of armies forever.
One of the reasons I wanted to make this post is a recent post by CPA I suggest you read that is nothing but trying to justify all their blunders and mistakes through blaming the public for overreaction. Regardless of all their stances on transparency and being a community-led environment, they take no second thoughts on making the people’s voice less significant while simultaneously only focusing on their own accomplishments for egotistical purposes. Making mistakes is one thing, but blaming people for their opinions on the matter and going so far as to even attack them sends a clear message. It is no wonder a lot of people are fed up with leagues and it is unfortunate to see that this has become the common standard that armies would be forced to.
Why CPAL?
In the midst of league concerns, it is absolutely understandable why many would not take the risk. A lot say, “Why would I be a part of a league when I am already in a league that has existed longer?” For you to truly understand the answer to that question, you must ask yourself, “What benefits would my army exactly lose if I, by chance, leave this league in question?” If we are talking about CPA, many would take a good amount of time to think about it if asked on the spot. (Trust me I tested it)
While CPA org has long-standing firm guidelines and principles, most of the time in recent years it has worked against armies. The army board is supposed to be the only outlet for army leaders to express thoughts, suggest new ideas and request other such changes by calling for meetings between representatives. This wasn’t exactly the case. Most army leaders (me being one of them) had to pander more to the administration and their specific liking and taste of the concern to bring it up for a chance of being implemented, rather than discuss with the army leaders regarding a subject they’d wanted to bring up. This system can also be manipulated, which was what happened early this year, with the Elite Guardians representitive retiring – this being the Head Rep at the time. Their leaders then requested a Head Rep change, however the admins denied the request, even though it was completely legal for them to do so. This was in the midst of an ongoing issue that EGCP was planning to bring up with the board, but they lost the chance to do so for months.
It is due to this and many other factors that, regardless of your long-standing in the community, you can still have flaws that define the foundation of your organisation. So what can CP Army League offer that is suitable for you?
Transparency and Opportunity
The largest issue in modern leagues is the disconnect between army leaders and the administration. CP Army League works as an opportunity outlet between the community and an organisation. There have been many situations already, just in the 4 weeks CPAL has been revived, in which people have given input regarding certain issues – these were instantly discussed and proposed for a fair and democratic vote to the people that concern them the most, which are the armies.
There is no overcomplication, there shouldn’t be one when it comes to addressing ongoing matters or giving input on how the league can better itself. What matters most is the transparency, clarity and, most importantly, freedom to act and propose a better future for the community. Both the league and the armies in the CP Army League share the same vision of bettering the community to modern standards, so why should there be a barrier between the two?
Regardless of whatever differences I and any individual may have had in the past, I am here on a sole mission to attempt to fill the void that a lot of armies feel with the previous league. I am not here to seek power or fame, I honestly couldn’t care less, it was only after I came back from retirement this year to have some fun that I realized what the state of the community is. I am open to working with the CPA org on a safer and more secure path for all armies’ future and development. At the end of the day, every single group in the community only wishes the best for Club Penguin Armies; the only difference is how people want to achieve that.
Flexibility and Cooperation
One thing a league needs to set straight: armies are not your enemies. Regardless of a slight misdemeanour or misstep, there needs to be a level of cooperation and leeway. Armies that show clear and absolute signs of no malicious intent and show efforts and steps to ensure a clear record, should not be ridiculed and attacked in front of the entire community.
CP Army League will and is one that will be more flexible in ensuring all armies equally have more leeway in operating under the league. We believe in mistakes and unfortunate circumstances, and we will work tirelessly to work with and not against armies.
Quality Standards
Besides all the above, a league must have proper standards when it comes to the basic needs to operate as an army. Main subjects that include how an army conducts warfare, develops and builds a nation in the world map, and participates in a well organized and well thought out tournament. Ensuring creativity is essential in all the above, to have continuous and progressive quality standards that shape a better environment for armies to co-exist in.
CP Army League does not plan on just doing what was already done for the past several years. From the foundation of the league to the day-to-day army activities, this league plans on giving bright and new aspects to the components of army warfare, competitiveness, and involvement.
The Future
There is no question about it, administration within leagues has moved from being a reputable line between the armies and the executives. It has turned into an unstable podium for division, boasting about their accomplishments for the portfolio, instead of focusing on what the community needs today.
The community needs an administration that is transparent in the issues the league has, and one that will listen to any individual, regardless of their affiliation or opinion.
What the community needs is fresh new air, rather than the same rhetoric of bragging and brushing issues off for self-gain, and needs a calm and steady leadership that will address and fix the issues at hand.
What the community needs is a league that will make sure armies are not ridiculed, attacked, and made fun of because of a small misstep. A league that will hold those who endanger the security and safety of the community accountable. And a league that will focus on armies first and foremost, more than anything else.
It is very clear that the air is currently very foggy in the community, there is no denying the levels of dread the armies are facing. However, the community has always found ways to break through the fog through sheer determination. It begins with you first and foremost to make a change, no matter how difficult it is.
