On Friday, October 10, Thunder Troops waged war on the Special Weapons and Tactics. A shocking announcement to many, seeing SWAT dive into yet another war. Let’s dive deeper into this war declaration and see what we can discover.
Background
The Thunder Troops is a relatively old and not well-known army, founded by Jack in 2011. While there isn’t much information out about the Army, they still managed to host events and hold their first-ever battle, which was the invasion of flippers in April of 2011. This was a war invasion against the Global Defenders.
They were actively hosting events until they announced a temporary shutdown due to the army not doing as expected and having inactive troops. However, hope wasn’t completely lost. On July 3rd, Thunder Troops announced a possible return that excited many in the army and pushed for a return. But sadly, it did not end up taking place.

On the other hand, we have Special Weapons and Tactics, an army founded by Ganger90 in 2009. Becoming a well-known army in the CPA community, known for its several wars throughout the years. After its revival on April 4th, 2020. The army has continuously hosted events up until now, and has engaged in multiple different tournaments and wars, recently the War of Triumph Against the Romans and the war against the Water Troops.

The War of Erasure
On Friday, October 10th, Thunder Troops officially declared an off-map war against SWAT, called the War of Erasur. This marked it as the first-ever TT War declaration in more than a decade. The first war invasion is the Invasion of Krill’s Intelligence, which will mark the start of a brilliant conflict between the two.

Thunder Troops aim to become a war-oriented army, declaring war and placing the army in a state of conflict for stabilization. SWAT also don’t plan on giving up a good fight.
