Map Rules

Rules & Information

Invasion Rules

  • All armies must use CPA Battleground to conduct any form of battle or invasion.
  • Armies are subject to only 6 lands gained through non-hostile means, such as freeland invasion and land transfers.
  • Armies may only schedule 1 freeland invasion per day.
  • Once an army reaches the freeland cap, they may only gain more land through direct invasions or war.
  • Armies are only allowed to invade adjacent land, applying to war invasions as well. Islands can be invaded by having the closest land(s) towards it.
  • For an invasion to be considered successful, the invading major army must have at least 10 troops at any point in the first room for a UK/US invasion or defense, 5 troops for AUSIA, otherwise the battle would conclude or the freeland invasion would be invalid..
  • A small or medium army must have at least 5 troops at any point in the first room for a UK/US/AUSIA invasion or defense otherwise the battle would conclude or the freeland invasion would be invalid..

Server Ownership

Armies will be given the choice to name any of their servers, as long as it is appropriate and does not copy or resemble an already existing land on the map. Land renames will be monitored by the administration to avoid any names that are deemed inappropriate.

  • An army may rename their land after the ownership of the land in question (judges announcing the invasion is successful).
  • Armies may not change the name of a server if an army has an active scheduled invasion on it.

Timezone Rules

  • Armies may not schedule invasions against the same army during the same timezone, otherwise it would be deemed invalid.
  • If an army schedules on two corresponding time zones, they must be at least 2 hours apart.
  • The CP Army League time zone table are as follows
    • AUSIA: 3:00 am – 10:30 am
    • UK: 10:31 am – 4:59 pm
    • US: 5:00 pm – 2:59 am

War Rules

  • All land an army owns will be automatically locked during the period of a war. This will restrain armies from releasing, or transferring land.
  • Armies are not allowed to reschedule invasions more than
  • Armies can only schedule 3 invasions at a time, only 2 being against an army.
  • Capital invasions may only be scheduled once an army loses all its land pieces. They cannot be pre-invaded regardless of whether an army is sure the defending army is losing or not showing up. The capital invasion will go forward regardless of whether the defending army obtains more land.
  • All Club Penguin Army Judges rules apply.
Terms and Agreements

For a war to be considered valid, the declaring army must state a clear basis of terms alongside scheduled invasions.

The following terms are what can be set by the declaring army:

  1. 1v1 term (Usage of allies, visitors, and dual-enlists automatically is not allowed if stated)
  2. Ally, visitor, or dual-enlists usage.
  3. Failure to show up in X consecutive battles constitutes in forfeit (3 at a minimum) [Optional]

The following terms are automatically set by declaring on an army:

  1. All CPAL rules apply (stated above)
  2. All land is locked
  3. All battles must be on CPAB.
  4. No army is allowed to merge during the period of the war.
  5. Multilogging, hacking, ddosing, doxxing, botting, or any other means of cheating will not be allowed.
  6. All war battles must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance with the CPAL league and CPAJ.

Any other rules will not be enforced by CP Army League.

Force treaties are abolished in CP Army League.

The participating armies in the war may not raid, invade, or assist in invading one another during the cooldown period of 3 weeks, automatically initiated once the war concludes with the capital invasion or a treaty signed.

Cooldowns are only upheld by CPAL if it is a map war. Failure to uphold the cooldown will result in the transfer of your nation towards the opponent army.

Armies are allowed to sign any form of non-aggression pact as long as it is mutually agreed in a screenshot or message with the involved army(s) signing the terms sent in the “#╰┈➤treaties” channel. CPAL will uphold any treaty signed as long as they are within the CPAL rules.

Standard Battle Rules

All battles are subject to the following rules to ensure the fairness and safety of all parties involved. Armies found in breach of these terms will be subject to penalties imposed by the administration, depending on the severity.

  1. No multi-logging.
  2. No doxxing or ddosing.
  3. No blackmailing.
  4. No malicious attempts at mass reports.
  5. No server defacement or raids.
  6. No toxic tactics.

Discord Invading

Armies must follow this format for invading in the “#╰┈➤invasion-scheduling” channel:

Army Names: Your Army vs Opponent Army (Only mention your army for freeland invasions)

 

Server: Name of the invaded server

 

Date and Time: Exact time of the battle (preferably use a timestamp)

 

Make sure to ping all army leaders of the opponent army for battles

  • A 24-hour notice must be given for any type of invasion, and no longer than a maximum of 7 days in advance.
  • Judges must also be given a 24-hour notice before an invasion, otherwise it would be deemed invalid.
  • Server transfers must be stated in “#╰┈➤server-transfers” channel, with the receiving army accepting for a valid transfer.

Additional Regulations

  • Armies will have a 4-day grace period once they enter or rejoin the map. Likewise, they will not have the ability to declare war on anyone until the grace period ends.
  • Raids are allowed in any type of battle, except tournament battles.
